PMYC Intramural Flag Football

DT8 Flag Football Fundraiser Tournament

PMYC is excited to partner with the Tyler Family for a fundraiser flag football tournament called DT8.  The event will take place on Saturday, June 8th.  This fundraiser event benefits several local sports organizations and PMYC is very excited to join this event for a great day of flag football, music, food, and other various events.  

The Tyler family tragically lost their son David in 2014.  The family started the DT8 fundraiser to honor their son’s memory and passion for sports.  David loved playing sports from little league through college.  Post college he was involved in various flag football leagues.  David was happiest when he was on the football field!

Flag Football Tournament Details:

Registration runs through 5/18.

Registration fee of $15 includes an event shirt, all flag games, food, and other fundraiser events.

Registration is open to boys and girls in grades K-12 plus an adult division. Players will get divided into divisions based on grade. Divisions will play at specific time slots during the event and all teams are guaranteed at least 2 games. Divisions will play a round-robin format with the top 2 teams playing in a championship game.

You can bring a team, just list the team's name or teammates in the "friend request" field when registering.

PMYC Flag Football is an intramural sport.  The goal of our league is to teach some fundamentals of football while allowing the kids to have a fun experience.  There are no try-outs required.

The season runs from late August through the end of October with weekly games and practices.

PMYC Flag Football is Fun, Friendly and Flexible! Athletes involved in other sports during the season are welcome to Join!

PMYC and PMYC Coaches use TeamSnap to communicate with Parents and Players.

Location and Schedule (subject to change):

  • No Travel, all games played at Charlestown Park (5 minutes from Phoenixville HS).

    • 99 Southwest Ave, Phoenixville, PA 19460​

  • Practice schedules are set by individual teams and coaches, usually beginning the week of August 12th. (The majority of teams have one practice per week.)

  • Game dates are as follows: August 23rd, September 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, October 4th, 11th, 18th (playoffs), and 25th (playoffs).

  • Kindergarten and 1st grade teams typically have their games on Thursdays.

  • Games are played on Friday nights, typically between 5:30pm and 9:30pm.    



  • divisions are determined by grade entering in the fall

  • typical divisions are shown below but is subject to change based on registration.

    • K - 1st Grade

    • 2nd - 3rd Grade

    • 4th - 5th Grade

    • 6th - 7th Grade

    • 8th - 9th Grade 


Required Equipment:

  • mouth guard

  • athletic shoes (cleats are recommended)


Coaches & Volunteers:

  • PMYC is a 100% volunteer organization.  Please consider volunteering.

  • Coaches for every team are by volunteer only. 

  • Visit the "Volunteer" page of the PMYC website to provide the proper coaching clearances
