PMYC Recreational Flag Football

PMYC Flag Football is an intramural sport. The goal of our league is to teach some fundamentals of football while allowing the kids to have a fun experience. There are no try-outs required.

The season runs from late August through the end of October with weekly games and practices.
​
PMYC Flag Football is Fun, Friendly and Flexible! Athletes involved in other sports during the season are welcome to Join!

PMYC and PMYC Coaches use TeamSnap to communicate with Parents and Players.
Registration is open to Boys and Girls entering Kindergarten thru 9th grade
*(no experience needed)
Registration Fee is $125

No travel and no weekend practices or games
Fields are located just a few minutes from Phoenixville High School
Located at Charlestown Park
(Just off Township Line Road)
Most games are played on Friday night
*Note: K-1st and 8th-9th grade divisions will likely play on Wednesday or Thursday nights to avoid conflicts with the High School Friday night games

​Practice schedules are set by individual teams and coaches. (The majority of teams have one practice per week.)

*Important Note regarding friend requests:

Over the past few seasons friend requests have created unbalanced teams and lopsided scores in each division.

This season we will attempt to create fair and balanced teams for competitive games throughout the season.

The ultimate goal is to create an enjoyable league for all teams and players so we cannot guarantee all friend requests.

You can list friend requests in your registration, and we’ll honor the request if possible. Thank you for your understanding.​

Background Checks Required for All PMYC Coaches
​
Beginning in January 2026, all Coaches are required to Register via TeamSnap and upload their clearances for each sport they coach at the beginning of each and every sport season.
​
All clearances must be uploaded and verified by PMYC Admin prior to first Team Practice.
