PMYC Basketball will be back Winter 2022 / 2023.

Season will begin early December 2022 and end early March 2023.

The Phoenixville Marion Youth Club (PMYC) is pleased to announce the return of it’s community youth basketball league for the upcoming 2022/2023 season. After a two-year break due to Covid, PMYC will be resuming its storied youth basketball pro-gram that first started in 1958. The new home for this year’s league will be the newly renovated gymnasium at the Chester County Technical College - Pickering Campus (formerly known as the Phoenixville Tech School) located at 1580 Charlestown Road in Phoenixville.
 

PMYC basketball provides co-ed community league play for boys and girls, grades 2 through 6, that live in the greater Phoenixville area. The Dribblers division, grades 2 and 3 will play on 8’ baskets and the Shooters division, grades 4 to 6 will play on 10’ baskets.
 

The league will be comprised of 8 teams in each division with 10 players on each team.
 

The first 80 kids that sign up in each division will be selected for a team, for a total of 160 participants. Additional registrations will be placed on a waiting list.
 

Each team will play 10 games plus playoffs. Skills tryouts will be held on Nov 30 and Dec 2 and the season will run from Monday Dec 12th to the end of February. The League Championship is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th. Final dates schedules will be released in early December after teams are selected.
 

The cost is $100 per player.  

 

If a player is placed on a waiting list , registration fee is not due until the player is notified of an opening and will be prorated for any missed games.
