Flag Football 2022

PMYC Flag Football is an intramural sport.  The goal of our league is to teach some fundamentals of football while allowing the kids to have a fun experience.  There are no try-outs required.

 

The season runs from late August through the end of October with weekly games and practices. 

                              

PMYC Flag Football Registration is done through TeamSnap.

Registration will be limited to keep enrollment numbers to a reasonable level. Spots are limited as we had 300 players last season so we are encouraging everyone to register early.

Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Registration will close on August 1st, 2022.    

 

There are no registration fees to participate at PMYC.  We do however ask that all families pay $90 per player at the time of registration.  You will then receive raffle tickets to sell to family and friends to recoup the $90.  It is not mandatory to sell the tickets but this does offers you an opportunity to recoup the $90 so you keep the money but return the ticket stubs.

Location and Schedule (subject to change):

• No Travel, all games played at Charlestown Park (5 minutes from Phoenixville High School).

  • 99 Southwest Ave, Phoenixville, PA 19460​

• Most games are played on Friday nights, typically between 5:30pm and 9:30pm.  Younger divisions may play games on Thursday nights. Each team typically has a 1-hour time slot, with the younger divisions playing the earlier time slots.  

 

Divisions:

• divisions are determined by grade entering in the fall

• typical divisions are shown below, but is subject to change based on enrollment

  • K - 1st Grade

  • 2nd - 3rd Grade

  • 4th - 5th Grade

  • 6th - 7th Grade

  • 8th - 9th Grade

  • 10th - 12th Grade (pending registration numbers)

Coaches & Volunteers:

• PMYC is a 100% volunteer organization.  Please consider volunteering.

• Coaches for every team are by volunteer only.  Visit the "Volunteer" page of the PMYC website to provide the proper coaching clearances

Required Equipment:

• mouthguard

• athletic shoes (spikes are recommended)
